My trip to Ireland in 2006 was beautiful in very many ways. It's a luggage-full of fond memories I have of my four month stay and the following photos are just some testimony...
This pond is in the grounds around Bunratty Castle in Co. Clare. The different hues of green are the most beautiful thing in Ireland. I just can't help the way my eyes fix on them until I'm almost stumbling. I've always pretended trees had a personality and I find myself psycho-analysing them as they stand so strikingly different, looking at me with leafy faces.
This is Bunratty Castle - a medieval fortress built in the 15th century. Very AWEsome. I guess 4 years down the line, I can afford to divulge a little secret ... Three friends and I had decided we wanted to visit the castle and grounds but were running slightly late, so we climbed over a rubble wall and into the grounds because we figured it would cost us less :) *trespassers*
This too is found in the grounds around Bunratty. The place is dotted with thatched roof cottages and tea parlours. I'll post some more pictures of Ireland later on.
In the meantime, Slán agaibh!

Soo beautiful =) I can't decide which photo I like best. I was lucky enough to visit Paris and London when I was 18. We visited Warwick castle in England and it was amazingly beautiful. Thanks for the memory!
